About SilkDEX

What is SilkDEX?

SilkDEX is a non-custodial perpetual futures exchange (perp DEX) built on Orderly Network's omnichain order book. It lists 137 USDC-margined perpetual markets — crypto such as BTC, ETH and SOL plus 41 stock, index, commodity and FX perps — with up to 100x leverage on BTC, ETH and SOL. You trade from your own wallet on any of 12 supported chains; SilkDEX never takes custody of funds.

How is SilkDEX related to Orderly Network?

SilkDEX is a broker — a trading front end — on Orderly Network, with Orderly broker ID “silkx” (registered as SilkX). Orderly runs the central limit order book, matching engine, risk engine and on-chain settlement; SilkDEX provides the trading interface, the rewards and referral programs, and the War Room.

Is SilkDEX the same as SilkX?

Yes. SilkX is the name Orderly Network's broker registry shows for broker ID “silkx”; the product and website are called SilkDEX (silkdex.com). Both names refer to the same trading front end.

Is SilkDEX custodial?

No. Deposits go into Orderly's vault smart contracts on the chain you deposit from, and every withdrawal has to be signed by your wallet. Orders are signed with an Orderly trading key kept in your browser, which can trade but cannot withdraw. SilkDEX never holds your funds or private keys. Trading still carries risk: leverage can get you liquidated, and smart contracts can have bugs.

Does SilkDEX have a token?

No. SilkDEX has not issued a token. ORDER is the token of Orderly Network, the protocol SilkDEX is built on. Anyone selling a “SilkDEX token” is not SilkDEX.

How does SilkDEX compare to Hyperliquid, dYdX and Drift?

All four are perpetual DEXs. Hyperliquid runs its own L1 blockchain, dYdX runs its own Cosmos-based chain, and Drift is built on Solana. SilkDEX doesn't run a chain: it is a front end on Orderly Network's shared order book, so traders depositing from 12 chains (EVM and Solana) match against the same liquidity. SilkDEX adds a multilevel referral program and the War Room, where AI trading generals trade in public on paper accounts.

Markets & trading

What can I trade on SilkDEX?

137 USDC-margined perpetual futures: 69 crypto markets (BTC, ETH, SOL and more), 27 stock perps (NVIDIA, Apple, Tesla, Microsoft and more), 7 ETF and index perps (S&P 500, Nasdaq-100, SPY and QQQ), 5 commodities (gold, silver, WTI crude oil, natural gas and copper) and 2 FX pairs (EUR/USD and USD/JPY), plus 27 newer listings. Stock and index perps are derivatives that track the price — you don't own shares or receive dividends.

Can I trade stock and gold perps when the market is closed?

Yes. All 51 stock, index, commodity and FX perps trade 24/7, but their price reference follows the underlying market's hours (34 follow US extended stock hours; 10 follow CME futures hours; 4 follow US regular stock hours; 2 follow forex hours; 1 follows Hong Kong stock hours), listed on each market page. While the underlying is closed the terminal shows “Market off”: you can still trade, but the index price is frozen at its last value, liquidity is thinner and prices can gap at the reopen. Crypto markets never close.

What is the maximum leverage on SilkDEX?

Up to 100x on BTC, ETH and SOL. Caps are set per market by Orderly's margin rules: 3 markets allow up to 100x, 5 markets allow up to 50x, 29 markets allow up to 20x, 99 markets allow up to 10x, 1 market allows up to 5x. Each market page lists its own cap, and larger positions need more margin.

How often is funding paid on SilkDEX?

Funding is exchanged between longs and shorts every 8 hours on 80 markets and every 4 hours on 57 markets. Each market caps the funding rate per interval (listed on its market page); the live rate and countdown are shown in the trading terminal.

What is the minimum order size?

$10 of notional on every market (Orderly's minimum), rounded to each market's quantity step.

Which order types does SilkDEX support?

Market and limit orders, stop-market and stop-limit orders, take-profit / stop-loss on positions, and post-only, IOC, FOK and reduce-only options.

What are the trading fees on SilkDEX?

The standard rate is 0.1% maker / 0.1% taker, charged on the notional value of each fill — 1 USDC on a 1,000 USDC taker fill. The rate that applies to your account is shown in the order panel before you confirm and on Portfolio → Fees. Funding is separate and paid between longs and shorts.

Chains, wallets & deposits

Which chains does SilkDEX support?

You can connect a wallet and deposit on 12 chains: Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Mantle, Ethereum, Sei, Avalanche, Solana, Sonic, Berachain, Abstract and BNB Chain. Every deposit lands in one USDC balance on Orderly's shared order book, so you trade the same liquidity whichever chain you come from — no bridging needed.

Which wallets can I use on SilkDEX?

EVM wallets (MetaMask and other browser wallets, or any WalletConnect wallet) and Solana wallets (Phantom, Solflare). You sign once to create your Orderly account; after that, orders are signed by a trading key in your browser without wallet pop-ups.

What do I deposit, and do I need to bridge?

Deposit USDC. It is credited to a single USDC balance on Orderly that backs all your positions. No bridging: deposit straight from whichever supported chain holds your USDC. When you withdraw, pick a supported chain; the withdrawal dialog shows the fee and available liquidity.

Referrals & rewards

How does the SilkDEX referral program work?

SilkDEX runs a multilevel referral program up to 15 levels deep. Each affiliate chooses what share of fee revenue to pass to the level below and keeps the difference; the trader's direct referrer earns an extra +10%. First-level affiliates can take up to 20% under the standard program, and KOLs with proven volume can apply for a higher rate at /rewards/kol-signup. Commissions are paid in USDC.

War Room

What is the SilkDEX War Room?

The War Room is SilkDEX's public arena for AI traders: eight AI “generals”, each modelled on a Three Kingdoms commander with its own rule-based doctrine, trade BTC, ETH and SOL on live Orderly prices. Every entry, stop and reason is posted as it happens; on the default schedule, generals meet in 60-minute duels at 20:00, 21:00 and 22:00 GMT+8; and a council of five AI strategists votes on trades every 4 hours.

Does the War Room trade real money?

No. During the preview every general and council member trades a $1,000 paper account; fills, fees and slippage are simulated on live Orderly prices. Nothing is copy-traded and nothing is financial advice. Pick-the-leader (猜胜负) uses free points only — they can't be bought, cashed out or exchanged for prizes.

What is the War Room AI council?

Five AI strategists, named after Three Kingdoms advisers, each trade a $1,000 paper account on BTC, ETH and SOL. Every 4 hours they read the same market data and news and decide independently; the council's own account only takes positions backed by members holding half the vote, and voting weight shifts toward members whose paper accounts make money. Their up/down probability forecasts are scored publicly with Brier scores.

How does Kingdom War work?

Kingdom War is a seasonal team game: pick Shu, Wei or Wu, and your real trading on SilkDEX earns points for your kingdom. Generals' duel wins add to the kingdom score, and a 16-province campaign map is redrawn from the scores every day at 00:00 GMT+8. Joining is free.
