When do stock and gold perps trade?
The 51 stock, index, commodity and FX perps on SilkDEX can be traded 24/7, but their price reference follows the hours of the underlying market — US stocks, CME futures or forex. While that market is closed the terminal shows “Market off”: you can still trade, but the index price is frozen at its last value, liquidity is thinner and the price can gap when the market reopens.

FAQ
Can I trade stock perps on the weekend?
Yes, trading never stops. But the US market is closed, so the index is frozen, liquidity is thinner and the price can gap when it reopens on Monday.
Why did my stock perp jump at the open?
While the market was closed the index stayed at its last value; at the open it updates to the new market price in one step and the mark price follows. After big news the jump can be large.
